Tap the + button to upload your own photo, or pick any template from the gallery on the home screen. Choose your yarn colours, set the grid size, and Bobble builds the chart and written instructions for you. The photo to crochet pattern guide walks through it.
When creating a project, the palette screen lets you tap any swatch to adjust it. You can pick an exact colour, sample from your photo, or nudge each shade to match yarn you already own. See choosing yarn colours from a photo.
C2C (corner-to-corner) works diagonally in blocks: faster, drapier, and good for blankets. SC (single crochet) works row by row and gives a tighter, more pixel-art look, better for cushions and wall hangings. Same chart, different stitch path. More in what is a C2C graphghan.
Each square is one stitch, or one block in C2C. For SC, start bottom-left and read left to right; the runner handles the row flip when you turn your work. For C2C, start in one corner and work diagonally outward. See how to read a crochet chart.
Open a project and tap the Follow along tab. The runner highlights the row you are on, counts your stitches, and remembers your place between sittings, so you can put your hook down for a week and pick up exactly where you left off.
On the setup screen, enter the stitches and rows per 10 cm from a tension swatch and Bobble shows the real finished size in centimetres and inches. Open Export and it lists every colour with the metres and number of balls to buy, including a 10 percent allowance for tension and the tails you weave in. Open your project and tap the Export tab. Free accounts can save a PNG chart image, copy the written instructions as text, save a Pinterest pin, and create one shareable link. Pro adds one-tap PDF export with the chart and instructions combined, and raises your share limit to 100.
Publish a chart from the Export tab and, once it has been checked, it appears in the community gallery for anyone to make. Only publish designs you made or have the right to share.

Open the app, go to your account and choose Manage plan. That opens the billing portal, where you can cancel in two taps. Pro stays active until the end of the month you have already paid for.
Yes. Bobble is an installable web app. Once it has loaded, the chart, instructions and runner work without a connection; changes sync back when you are online again.
In the app, open your account and choose Delete account. It removes your projects, your saved photos and charts, your share links and their preview images, and your subscription record. Export anything you want to keep first. The privacy policy says what is stored and why.
