About this design
Every round is a single colour, so there is no carrying and no chart to follow inside a round: a good first bag. Each stripe is 8 rounds deep, with one cream round between stripes.
The base, the top and the handles are cream. Swap the six colours for leftovers and it becomes a scrap tote.
Good for
- First bag
- Scrap yarn project
- Summer tote
How to make it
With Pro, tap Make this and the design opens in Bobble as your own project, with its colour palette, ready to make round by round in Make Mode.
How the bag is built: a flat base worked in rounds round a foundation chain, growing at its four corners to 160 stitches; then the body, 60 rounds straight up, where the chart sits; then 7 rounds of top that make the two handles, in one piece with the bag. The chart is the body: one row of the chart for each round, read right to left every round, with its left and right edges meeting at the back corner where each round joins. From left to right the chart shows the left side, the front, the right side and the back.
